Yesterday, IFITT hosted its sixth webinar, “New Skills & Tourism Education in the Age of AI”, bringing together researchers, educators, practitioners, and tourism professionals to reflect on how artificial intelligence is reshaping tourism education and the skills needed in the sector.

The session featured contributions from Dr. Corné Dijkmans, Director of Research & Business Innovation at Breda University of Applied Sciences, and Elitza Stoilova, CEO of Umni, who shared complementary perspectives on how AI is transforming the tourism workforce, professional training, and everyday business practice.
