Today, IFITT has hosted its webinar “AI, Ethics & Responsible Innovation in Tourism”, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and tourism professionals to reflect on the ethical, social, and environmental implications of artificial intelligence in the tourism sector.
The session featured contributions from Prof. Alicia Orea-Giner and Prof. Jochen Wirtz, who shared complementary perspectives on responsible innovation in food tourism, sustainable communication, agentic AI, and the future role of service robots in customer service.
