Alessandro Inversini is an Associate Professor in Marketing at the EHL Hospitality Business School. After earning his Ph.D. at Università della Svizzera italiana (Lugano), he held managerial positions at both university and business levels in the Ticino region. Before joining École hôtelière de Lausanne in 2019, he was a faculty member at Henley Business School, University of Reading.

He currently coordinates the innosuisse-funded Flagship Resilient Tourism project, a nationwide Swiss initiative aimed at fostering datafication in the travel sector. His research interests lie at the intersection of digital communication, experience design, and regenerative business models.
