Arkadiusz Tomczyk

Dr Arkadiusz Tomczyk is Programme Leader for the MSc Organisational Project Management at Bournemouth University Business School. He holds a BSc in Chemistry from Nicolaus Copernicus University (Torun, Poland), an MSc in Tourism Management and Marketing, and a PhD in Revenue Management and Marketing from Bournemouth University. His career began in hospitality management, where he gained operational leadership experience before moving into academia.

At BU, Arkadiusz teaches undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in project management, sustainable project management, revenue management, business simulation, and hospitality operations. He has successfully supervised numerous dissertations and has received multiple “You’re Brilliant” awards for his student-centred approach.

His research explores the intersection of revenue management, marketing, and personalisation, with a particular focus on AI-enabled pricing strategies, customer behaviour, and value co-creation. He has published in the Journal of Business Research and contributed to the Encyclopaedia of Tourism Management and Marketing. He also engages internationally as a visiting lecturer and through professional bodies, including serving as a Treasurer for IFITT.
