Julita Markiewicz-Patkowska

Julita Markiewicz–Patkowska  is  a doctor of technical sciences, master of engineering management and engineer of environmental protection. She is also an experienced  technologist of water, wastewater and solid waste treatments, an advisor in the area of eco-logistics, reverse logistics and implementation of  environmental protection politics and sustainable development in the enterprises. She used to work at different Universities all over the world, in the United Kingdom, the United States and France. For many years she held management positions in chambers of commerce in Poland, where she focused particularly on cooperation with the tourism industry in the area of ​​management, education and promotion. She is a practitioner in managing companies in the SME sector. She was involved in supporting entrepreneurship, creating and managing projects financed from EU funds for over 10 years (author and coordinator of several dozen European projects, mainly in tourism and hospitality sector). She is the author and co-author of several dozen scientific and popular science publications in the areas related to sustainable development, environmental protection, physical activity and tourism, especially for seniors. She is also a reviewer in international, high-scoring scientific journals and member of the Scientific Council of the Discipline of Physical Culture Science in the Research Federation of WSB & DSW Universities.
