Juho Pesonen

Juho Pesonen (PhD) is a professor of tourism business at the Centre for Tourism Studies in the University of Eastern Finland Business School. In his research, Juho focuses on how tourism businesses and destinations succeed financially in rapidly changing world, focusing on digital transformation and disruption. Juho is the co-editor-in-chief for Finnish Journal of Tourism Research and an associate editor for the Journal of Information Technology and Tourism. He has published his research extensively on academic journals and books. He has keen interest in sharing academic results with the industry and increasing the impact of research and education.
