Ivana Bilkova

Graduate of Palacký University in Olomouc, Department of Sociology and Andragogy.

She has been connected with tourism for more than twenty years. First at the level of the Ministry of Regional Development, where she created and headed the Commission for Tourism. All disciplines in tourism were represented. The mission of the Commission was to create synergistic tools for the joint functioning of the various tourism entities, to address the disconnection and disparity in the regions in the provision of tourism services, “white spaces”, to maximize the use of subsidies for development, to prevent the atomization of individual services and entities.

For 18 years she was the head of the Czech Tourism foreign representation in Poland, where she was responsible for tourism promotion for Polish, Lithuanian and Latvian tourists.

She tried to use all marketing tools in order to best reach potential tourists and convince them that the Czech Republic is a tourist destination they will love.

Currently, she is a business consultant.
