Jelena Dorčić, Ph.D., is Senior Assistant at the University of Rijeka in Croatia, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Department of Quantitative Economics. She is interested in topics related to online customer behaviour, service quality, smart tourism and applications of quantitative and qualitative methods in the context of tourism and hospitality industry. She has collaborated on several scientific projects as a team member and team leader. She is currently leading a scientific project entitled “An Analysis of Daily Deals Websites Adoption as a Distribution Channel in Hospitality: A Mixed Methods Approach”. In 2020 she received literature award for outstanding paper published in Tourism Review. She is a social media editor for scientific journal Tourism and Hospitality Management and member of editorial review board of Tourism Review. She previously served IFITT as ENTER24 overall chair and currently she serves as Director of Events.
