Dr. Cihan Cobanoglu is the McKibbon Endowed Chair Professor in the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida (USF). He also serves as the Director of the M3 Center for Hospitality Technology and Innovation and the Director of International Partnerships for the Muma College of Business. In addition, he is the Editor of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology (JHTT) (SSCI) and the Journal of Global Business Insights (JGBI). He has co-authored six books and ten conference proceedings and is currently serving as the President of the Association of North America Higher Education International (ANAHEI).

Dr. Cobanoglu is the founder and chair of several global conferences, including the Global Conference on Business and Economics (GLOBE), the Global Conference on Education and Research (GLOCER), the Global Conference on Business, Hospitality and Tourism Research (GLOSEARCH), and the Global Conference on Services Management (GLOSERV). He has also developed curriculum for hospitality software, including the innRoad Property Management System, M3 AccKnowledge Hotel Accounting System, and M3 Link Hotel Business Intelligence System.

His research has been widely recognized, with his articles cited more than 4,000 times. He has presented at numerous national and international conferences and received the “Excellence in Research-Tenured” award from the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee in both 2016 and 2019. Dr. Cobanoglu has taught courses in six different countries, has been invited as a keynote speaker at more than 15 conferences, and has received 13 Best Paper Awards from international conferences. In 2013, he was named a “Fellow” by the Academy for Global Business Advancement (AGBA).
