Muhammad Khogali

Muhammad Khogali is a Doctoral Researcher in Tourism Marketing and Management at the University of Eastern Finland within the Tourism Business research group. His research focuses on tourists’ consumption mindset and transformative virtual reality experiences. He holds a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
Prior to his academic career, he worked with the Dow Chemical Company as Sustainability Marketing Specialist across Europe, Middle East, and Africa delivering sustainable innovations for various sectors including coatings, infrastructure, transportation, energy, skin care, and packaging.
Muhammad is the General Secretary of the International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) and holds a professional certificate in Sustainable Tourism from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).
